CROCHET 🧶

A little known secret about me is, I love to crochet! About eight years ago, I started having some back problems. The only relief I could get from my back was to lay down on ice. I dealt with that problem for two years until I had a back fusion on two of my vertebrae. I am a very active…always having something to do … type person. Being laid up so much with my back was making me crazy. I decided to teach myself a skill that would make me feel productive even though I was needing to lay down. I decided it would be crochet. So I hopped on YouTube, and found lots of great videos that taught me how to crochet. (I put one of my favorite crochet YouTube I love to follow below)I started making little dishcloths and giving them to everyone. Then I moved on to blankets. I even crocheted, a king size blanket for our bed. When I make blankets, I love to add Minky material to one side of the blanket, and then attach it by crocheting a border. I have made blankets for each one of my kids and special friends. We are blessed with 4 grandchildren and I have made each of their blessing blankets. In the winter months, all I want to do is hunker down with a good show and crochet! I

sell small items such as ornaments and hair scrunchies to name a few at our local bakery. I enjoy making beanies as well. (See below for some of the things that I have made) I am not a pro by any means, however doing something and working at it makes me feel accomplished and happy that I created something.
